Developing A Life of Expectancy

There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary-we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit.

The Translator

So, I have a month off from Grad. school before my summer session starts. You would think that I'd be kicking back and engaging in some mindless activity, right? Well you'd be wrong. Thanks to SaveDarfur.org I got this great book in the mail. I can't put it down. It's extremely sad but heartfelt and really a piece of literature that will open many peoples eyes, should they choose to read it. It shows that even as an individual one person can do so much, so if you choose to read it, ENJOY!
